Careers Events Officer
Jenna is one of the Law Society’s Careers Events Officers. She, alongside Dorisha, is responsible for planning, organising and ensuring the smooth running of all the Law Society’s professional and academic events. These include events in collaboration with our sponsors, events which provide support to students with their degree and collaborations with other law-related societies. These events are key in our society goal to help improve the employability of our members.
Closely working with Dorisha, Jenna’s role as part of the society is to organise and host a diverse range of academic and professional events throughout all year groups, assisting each member to develop and learn while studying. This year, Jenna hopes to bring back more in-person events, as they are extremely popular and really give students a great insight into real life law firms. Also, Jenna hopes to work alongside law firms hosting and organising events, as well as visiting other events that legal firms may have, in order to create ideas. This will be done with individual firms, alongside group events that allow members to specialise and interact with people from other firms in order for them to benefit and gain enlightenment about their future professions.
Jenna is most interested in Family Law and aspects of Criminal Law involving children.
