Katy Evans
Katy is one of the Content Coordinators of the Law Society. She has the responsibility to ensure podcast episodes are released regularly, posts are being published on our social media and to maintain the website.
This year, Katy wishes to encourage and promote diversity and equal opportunities within the law career and society through our social media. Also, Katy hopes to use our 100% Legal podcast to organise legal talks which relate more to international law or human rights law.
Katy has a keen interest in environmental law, cybersecurity law & data protection and public international law.
When asked about the Law Society, she said: “I am so excited to have joined the Law Soc Committee, in order to be involved in its exciting events and help bring together the community of law students within it. Our aim to promote a wider variety of legal areas this year is something I am very passionate about.”
Because we also exist to make sure years at University are memorable, we shall mention our committee members favourite drink(s). In the library, you would find Katy sitting with a coffee but once the day is over, the classic Mojito becomes her favourite!
